William A. Kibbe & Associates provided structural engineering design services for an addition and renovations to Port Huron Northern High School located in Port Huron, MI.

A 5,000 SF addition of a new STEAM lab was added to the facility. This space is divided into four main rooms with an educational focus on engineering and biomedical science. Renovations also include a new science suite that features a central storage area and open common-style hallways, as well as upgrades to infrastructure, windows, LED lighting, and furniture, to give the building a more modern look. The school’s main entry was renovated by adding a new canopy and a secure vestibule for enhanced building safety.
