William A. Kibbe & Associates provided surveying, as well as civil and structural engineering services for the design of the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA in Bay City, Michigan; an anticipated LEED Silver certification project.

This handsome facility includes a daycare, two swimming pools, two basketball courts, weight training, cardio room, racquetball and squash courts, and exercise rooms with energy efficiency and green design used throughout.

The parking lot utilizes bioswales and underground storm water detention to clean and store water runoff prior to releasing it into the city’s sewer system.
