Wenonah Park’s Phase I renovation projects were completed earlier this summer in downtown Bay City, Michigan. William A. Kibbe & Associates provided architectural and engineering design services for the new community pavilion as well as an adjacent accessory building and associated site development.

The 5,000 SF multi-purpose pavilion structure will host a number of public events happening year-round in Bay City including summer concerts and ice skating in the winter months; it will also be available to rent for private events such as weddings and parties. The pavilion is equipped with a sound system and color-changing, fully dimmable LED lighting fixtures.

The 3,000 SF accessory building includes a concessions area, seating and warming area, skate rental, public restrooms, and general storage for pavilion accessories.

Additional renovation projects include an upgraded band shell and new park entrance. The band shell project is currently under construction to be completed in the summer of 2020.
