WAK attended the 2014 Conference sponsored primarily by Consumers Energy & DTE Energy. The conference centered on educating building owners, developers, and engineering personnel on the new products available for increasing energy efficiency through effective lighting design. Of course “LED’s” and “Controls-Controls-Controls” were a driving forces, but new products like wireless street lighting (powered through photovoltaic solar panels), and OLED (organic light emitting devices like blown up versions of your smart phone display) panels were presented to the excited attendees from across Michigan. One session highlighted financing that is available for energy upgrade projects. This means our clients are invited to take advantage of 0-net-cost financing through local & national financing resources, with guaranteed return-on-investment (ROI) strategies.
