We would like to thank all of the participants and sponsors involved in William A. Kibbe & Associates’ annual summer golf outing, the 2016 Kibbe Klassic, which took place on Friday, July 29, at the Sawmill Golf Club in Saginaw, Michigan.
The Kibbe Klassic began fifteen years ago after golf enthusiasts at the office began thinking of ways to organize a fun outdoor event among colleagues. A few years after the inaugural breakeven events we began donating proceeds to charities within our community. The result was the Kibbe Klassic – a daylong golf event that includes use of the driving range, 18 holes of golf, lunch on the course, dinner and reception, prizes, and more.
Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Food for Families, a charity that provides food to local needy families serviced by the Salvation Army locations in Saginaw, Bay, and Midland Counties. Event sponsor WSGW News Radio 790 partners with area businesses as donation locations where listeners drop off food and donations (a copy of Listen to the Mrs. recipe brochure is offered in return as a thank you).
This year marks William A. Kibbe & Associates’ 25th anniversary of annual donations to Food for Families, which has been a part of our company’s annual holiday giving program for decades. We are proud to say that through the generosity of our gracious colleagues, sponsors, and participants, this year’s event raised over $4,000 in charity donations.
